Retouching & refining a RAW image capture is the vital final step before your stellar corporate or business headshot says hello to the world for the first time.
The key is to help you look your absolute best, without overdoing it. This involves time and expertise to gently but firmly correct bags, skin imperfections, stray hairs, clothing fabric, & shine.
We go beyond corrective measures. We enhance your features by deepening shadow areas to create contrast and dimension while pushing highlights so your face shines and the attention remains firmly fixed on you.
Yes, we use Photoshop. But we also use very high-end industry leading software to focus on specific areas of the face and body.

Do you have a photo studio?
We do not. For high volume headshot or commercial projects we rent as needed. Otherwise we shoot on location in your office.
How long have you been shooting headshots?
We have over 20 years of location corporate and business headshot experience working from coast to coast and in the United States. We have literally produced thousands of dynamic and modern headshot portraits.
Help! My CEO hates having their photo taken!
Deep breaths, we've got this. We have tremendous experience and depth in our work and know how to work with busy executives in senior leadership positions. We work quickly and purposefully to create dynamic headshots of busy people.
Why should I spend more money on headshots? There are so many cheap options out there!
Corporate and business headshots are an investment in yourself and your brand, not an expense. Yes, there are many cheap headshots options out there, but look at the results! Really look at them. Why spend money on your office and website only to have low quality headshots for yourself and your team?
What type of equipment do you use?
We use high-resolution professional Nikon camera, Sigma Art lenses, and enough Profoto lighting to equip a rental house. We also have both AC mono-heads and powerful battery powered Profoto mobile lights to leave your office uncluttered (no wires!) or shoot outside. We capture photos using the industry standard - C1 software.
How much room in our office do you require?
We have worked in mammoth boardrooms and the smallest broom closets. Something in between is ideal. We can also tweak and adapt our lighting to work with your space, without compromising the final photos. The key is uninterrupted, open space. A fixed boardroom table with only a small amount of room on either side will be difficult.
What type of retouching do you do?
We do careful, subtle, and beautiful retouching, which takes time, patience, and the best software available. Retouching includes: blemish removal, skin softening, fly away hairs, under eye bags, etc.
Do you have a minimum number of people required?
Yes and no. Generally we start at 10 individual headshot shoots. This is mandatory for Package 1 as well. If you have less than 10 team members, let us know, and we'll work with you to find an effective budget.
How long do you keep our photos?
Contractually, we archive your photos to both external hard drives and secure cloud storage for 6 months. Realistically, most of our client shoots remain safe, secure, and accessible for years.
We're not a large corporation or multinational company. Can we work with you?
Indeed. As long as we have a space to shoot in, we're good to go. Our corporate and business headshot packages accommodate a range of budgets.
How do we select our photographs?
Once your photos are edited and archived, we upload the to our ShootProof platform. It's secure and password protected so your photos and projects are safe and sound. To view a full use ShootProof PDF, click here.
What is the turnaround time for headshots?
We're experienced corporate and business photographers and understand the pace of everyday business. Generally turnaround times for proofs is 2 days. Retouched photos, depending on volume, can take anywhere from a few days to a week. If you require something quicker to meet a deadline, let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
