Michael McCain for Report On Business Magazine
I always enjoy corporate editorial assignments for Report On Business Magazine. They always let you do your thing. This assignment was challenging because there have been multiple photo shoots with Michael McCain at the Maple Leaf Foods corporate headquarters, leaving very little left to the imagination. The story was about the leadership transition between Canadian corporate titan Michael McCain and his successor at Maple Leaf Foods, Curtis Frank. After they both rejected all my creative suggestions, we agreed that having a conversation flanked by oversized kitchen utensils would work well, but not too well. Let me just say that Michael McCain is a complete ham, pun intended. I have never met or worked with such a highly regarded CEO that is so willing to have so much fun on set - that means making fun of me, and taking it back just as well. Fresh Meat indeed.
